One of the best purchases I made during the last craft fair season was my flatbed, folding dolly. I got a great deal on it at Amazon and I can’t begin to express how much easier it is to use and load than a standard dolly.
This dolly can carry up to 660 pounds, so not only is it useful for craft shows, you will find it serves a variety of other purposes as well. We use it for our remodeling projects and even to haul things back and forth from our outbuilding to the house etc.
The handle pushes in and then folds down flat, making this very easy to store under a bed or in a closet. It also loads flat into your vehicle. We drive a Kia Soul. Our rear seats fold down in the back and although it’s pretty spacious back there for a smaller car, it still requires some skill to load everything effectively. This dolly helps because once it’s unloaded, it can be folded flat and placed on top of our folding tables.
We also love it because it’s very easy to maneuver and we can load and unload often in just one trip. This is great when parking is a nightmare or there are too many other vendors pulled up to a curb, or you have a space that is far from the entry door etc.
During the show, it folds flat and stores nicely under our tables and we can stack our extra supplies on top of it.
The other bonus – it’s extremely affordable on Amazon and has free shipping! It’ll come right to your door with or without Prime.
- Easy to fold and load and unload
- Great price
- Fits well under your display for storage during shows
- Holds up to 660 pounds!
- If you roll this downhill it can be hard to control, I’ve caught my heels twice
- If you don’t have a second set of hands you may want straps to help hold your items in place while you move
- No breaks or wheel locks
Although there are a few improvements that could be made, overall this dolly is the best quality I’ve used in this price range and I encourage everyone to check it out, read the other reviews and see for yourself why this is an investment that will save you time and energy without breaking the bank.
